He disappeared in 2019
During the second season of Selling Sunset, which premiered in 2019, Amanza Smith revealed that her ex husband had gone missing, with the realtor having no idea where he was.
Her former husband, Ralph Brown and her got married in 2010 but ended up getting divorced in 2012.
Amanza revealed on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast that prior to his disappearance, he was a “great father.”

She explained: “He was a great father when he was around. He was a very loyal, hands-on, dedicated, interactive father.”
As for the last time her ex husband was seen, Amanza Smith explained to E News! that he vanished during the second season of Selling Sunset whilst doing the school run.
Amanza recalled the very last time she heard from him, explaining: “He sent me an email, and he said, ‘my situation isn’t good right now. I can’t financially take care of the children. It’s not safe for them to be with me. You need to keep them until my situation change.'”
However, the Selling Sunset star appeared recently on the Boyfriend Material with Harry Jowsey podcast, with Amanza Smith revealing that she now knows more about what happened to her ex husband

Amanza confirmed that her husband is still alive and that the police recently informed her that they have now found a physical address for her ex husband after five years, and as such he’s no longer “deemed as a missing person.”
Amanza Smith told Harry more about the circumstances around her ex husband disappearing whilst she was filming Selling Sunset.
She recalled: “So we got a divorce when the kids were one and two, and then for seven years they would go to their dad for a week and me for a week like clockwork.
“He was good. He was a good dad, and then he dropped them off at school on a Monday, August 26th, 2019, and never came back and he filed a paper to the courts a few months later relinquishing all rights and responsibilities and we didn’t see that paper for like two and a half years because COVID, and it was like the lockdown.
“The family courts were closed, so we were like, you know, I was convinced that we could find him and maybe he needed help and it was just a whole, yeah. It was really, it’s been five years. It’ll be six years in August.”

As for how his sudden disappearance affected her, Amanza explained: “Yeah, it was really sad. My kids were seven and nine at the time. My son just turned 14 yesterday and my daughter’s 15.”
She also admitted that she still hasn’t had any closure, adding: “Nothing. Literally nothing. I mean, he filed a paper to the court writing all these, you know, reasons why he could no longer care for the children.”
