People are convinced the reality star may have quietly become a father earlier this year?! The rumour mill kicked off after the Reality Receipts podcast hinted that a baby born in January 2025 might be tied to the Londoner. While Louis has yet to address the chatter, the story has taken on a life of its own, and folks are scrambling for clues.

By the looks of things, it’s drama, drama, and more drama for Louis Russell this summer.
The Netflix star has been seriously talked about as of late, thanks to his new romance with Love Island USA’s Huda Mustafa.
Louis is currently appearing on Perfect Match. And, although people are just seeing his love life play out on screen, he’s got a pretty wild timeline going on right from back when the Netflix series was filmed to today.
Throwing it back to June 2024, and Perfect Match season three filming kicked off. Following that, Louis went on to film Celebs Go Dating in May 2025, and then was spotted hand-in-hand with Huda in July 2025.
Here’s why people think he’s a ‘new dad’
The first whispers of Louis’ alleged dad life seem to have come from a recent episode of Reality Receipts, a popular gossip podcast known for digging deep into reality stars’ personal lives. During a segment of the August 1st episode, the hosts claimed they believe Louis had fathered a child in secret.
They said: “We hinted that him and Huda might have more in common than we thought… yeah… I hear that’s the truth… he has a secret baby out there, but we don’t want to…. a secret baby or one very, very close to being born.
“Obviously we don’t have the details. We wouldn’t out someone that’s not in the reality space, and we don’t know if she is or not, there’s no information on the mom… we wouldn’t want to dox someone like that.”
Though no names were explicitly mentioned, the podcast hosts kind of said enough by suggesting that Louis could be a new or expectant dad. Louis has been notably private about his dating history outside of what we’ve seen on-screen and has kept his social media posts pretty vague and brand-focused since the new season began airing.

Louis has remained tight-lipped about the situation, neither confirming nor denying the rumours. This is typical for the Netflix star, who rose to fame on Too Hot To Handle season five before becoming a breakout name in the streaming platform’s shared reality universe. Even during his time on Perfect Match, Louis has rarely opened up about his personal life beyond the scope of the cameras.
The Reality Receipts podcast hosts also said his social media pages don’t give “dad-to-be” vibes, but they think perhaps it could be something that comes out as part of his Perfect Match journey.
