Freddie Powell shares whether he knew Madison before Perfect Match and where they stand now

Right, so Freddie and Madison are getting to know each other on Perfect Match, but did he know her before the show? Well, he’s finally revealed whether he watched her Love Is Blind season, if he knew her at all, and where they stand after filming.
Freddie on whether he knew Madison before Perfect Match
Freddie admitted on Beyond The Pod he “didn’t know who Madison was” until Perfect Match and claims he never watched her on Love Is Blind. But he said it’s a “good thing because you form an opinion based on your connection and stuff.”
He said, “I hadn’t seen that show, so I didn’t know who she was.” Freddie also said he’d never even watched Perfect Match until he was already confirmed to go on it, but said there “was no pressure” as he “had a lot of reassurance to be myself by production.”
He hints at where he stands with Madison after filming
Freddie is admittedly “forming something with Madison now,” he revealed, explaining why he didn’t choose Rachel Recchia to pair up with on the show. Although he can’t give too much away, he also hinted that he has since watched her season on Love Is Blind.
He’s currently following Madison on Instagram, and vice versa. To be fair though, he may have been talking about the specific time they were developing a romance, as they’re still split up by the end of episode six, after Madison chooses Jalen as he’s “her type to a T.”
The preview for next week does show Freddie back in the villa, so whether it happens at the mixers or in a later episode, Madison and Freddie will have a reunion. “I’m enjoying my time with Madison – you’ve got to trust your instincts,” Freddie recently said.
