Inside Taylor and Dakota’s feud: Where the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives stars stand now
It's been one heck of a journey
As if Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen’s whirlwind romance wasn’t enough to try and keep up with, the two’s relationship has taken us all on quite the rollercoaster ride. They ended up being off and on after season one. Now, as Secret Lives of Mormon Wives season two kicks off, people are curious to know more about where they stand. Is there a reconciliation on the cards, or are they over for good? Let’s take a look inside Taylor and Dakota’s feud…
Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Taylor and Dakota split
When people first met Secret Lives of Mormon Wives stars Taylor and Dakota, they were in a relationship.
Before meeting Dakota, Taylor was married to Tate Paul. They had two children together, but got divorced in 2022.
Taylor and Dakota began dating before Secret Lives of Mormon Wives season one premiered.
Even in the early days of their relationship, the two experienced many ups and downs.
They then welcomed their first child together, a son named Ever, in 2024.
Since the arrival of their son, it appeared Taylor and Dakota were pretty off and on, per their social media activity.
They were said to have potentially “reconciled” in October 2024, but by January 2025 they seemingly had ended things for good.
People reported that Taylor said she “cried every day” during their split.
Secret Lives of Mormon Wives stars aren’t together now
As Secret Lives of Mormon Wives season two arrives on Hulu, people are seeing Taylor and Dakota attempting to make their relationship work on screen.
But, in real time, the two are no longer together.
Speaking to People, Taylor said: “I feel like right now we are individually working on ourselves and trying to heal, for not only ourselves, but for our son. So that’s been the main focus the last few months, last half of a year…”
She added: “But to me, I don’t know, I never say never, but right now it’s just individually trying to heal and work on things we needed to work on.”
As lots of viewers weigh in on the season two scenes featuring Taylor, Dakota, and their family, she had something to say:
“That was really heavy, because they all love him too.”
The Hulu star continued: “It’s like, ‘We love our daughter, but we love him,’ and they just want us to work. Not only that, but they don’t want to see another child in a broken home.
“So I think they were very, ‘We want you guys to work out, but obviously, if it’s not working out, then we want what’s best for you guys’…”
