Love Is Blind’s Sara and Joey have revealed the real reason behind why they haven’t even gone on a date yet. They confirmed they are officially dating, yet somehow haven’t even gone for dinner in a new podcast. Finally, we are all getting some answers after Monica, Joey’s ex from the show, revealed they are secretly dating a few months ago.
Sara and Joey haven’t even had their first date since Love Is Blind
Sara and Joey are exploring a potential relationship after Love Is Blind, and while they aren’t officially a couple, they haven’t even gone on their first date! Sara told US Weekly that it’s “because Minnesota’s small [and] the pressure,” adding, “We want to protect this [and] what it could possibly be for the future. I don’t want to be impulsive and jump into it.”
She continued: “We can get [back] to our daily life and our routines, and it’s nice to incorporate Joey into that,” and is excited for a “sense of normalcy” now that the hype from Love Is Blind season eight has died down slightly. “He’s been huge with support these past couple of months,” Sara added of Joey. “I very much trust and am confident in the relationship that I have with Joey.”
“I feel like we could have a very happy, successful relationship,” she continued. “I guess it was, like, a month ago, I brought up, ‘Dating. What does that look like for us?’ And he’s like, ‘I thought we were dating.’ I’m, like, ‘We haven’t had the discussion if we’re boyfriend-girlfriend.’ So, we did have the discussion, and I’m not interested in anyone else. I do feel very confident.”
Um, they’ve even ranked their relationship
Right, so Sara gave their relationship a solid eight, while Joey gave it a meek 7.5. Awkward! To be fair though, the scale provided went from 0 for a casual hook-up to a married couple being a 10, so who knows, we may even see them at the altar one day! Sara also said, “It’s such a complex, unique situation [and] I just want to protect us for the most part of everything.”
They’ve been hanging out a lot, and with them both doing a podcast together, it’s looking promising…
