Kim Kardashian is not the most-liked person right now, and it’s because of her parenting skills. North West, her 10-year-old daughter, has just been in attendance at Coachella, the US festival all the stars are heading to, such as Kylie Jenner and Timothee Chalamet. But nobody seems to be in agreement with Kim letting North attend the festival.

North West is one of the youngest Coachella attendees to go to the California festival without her parents. At just 11 years old, she wore a pretty vibey outfit for the launch of the first weekend, and it’s not just North in attendance at the major event. Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian’s blended family, such as stepdaughter Alabama, were all in attendance too.
Kim’s daughter prepared for her first Coachella experience by relaxing with a face mask and laying out her iconic outfit consisting of a gray hoodie and gray plaid miniskirt over a pair of knee-length trousers, as well as long black socks and slippers. Luckily for North, there’s no age limit for those going to the festival, so she was able to truly strut her stuff!

Kim is receiving loads of criticism for letting her daughter go to Coachella at such a young age, despite ensuring she has security with her. Critics are calling her “weird,” years after Kim attended Coachella for the first time in 2019, when North’s dad and her now-ex-husband, Kanye West, performed on the big stage.
One main criticism is that Kim didn’t go with her eldest daughter, even though bodyguards were with North and her two friends. Her cousin Stormi Webster, Kylie Jenner’s daughter, was also there, while her mom partied to Charlie XCX with her boyfriend, Timothee. While they were safe, North was not playing it lowkey, as she wore a Balenciaga bag valued at over $2K.
Some even said Kim was “using Coachella as day care” while another said, “Letting your 11 year old go to a place where most of the adults are doing hard drugs is insane to me.” There’s no doubt North has had a different upbringing to most children, having been forced into the public eye so young, but one person said, “So weird, oh my god, why can’t she just be a kid.”
