Love Is Blind alumni Mark is currently embroiled in a very messy divorce with his wife Aubrey, and there’s some serious drama going on.
From accusations of cheating to Aubrey claiming she had no clue about the news of their split, here’s all the insane drama that’s gone down between them so far.
Aubrey hinted there was trouble in their marriage just days before their official announcement
Aubrey revealed Mark had gone out with his friends to the pub on St. Patrick’s Day and wrote that he “decided today that being a provider for his family was too much and he’s leaving.”
She uploaded the cryptic update onto her Instagram Story on St. Patrick’s Day, revealing that he’d gone to a bar and hinting that they’d had a disagreement about what he was up to on March 17.
Mark then announced news of their divorce on Instagram, revealing they’d ‘parted ways weeks ago’
He wrote: “After a lot of thought and conversations, Aubrey and I decided to part ways a few weeks ago.
“This wasn’t an easy decision, but we both believe it’s the best path forward for our individual growth and for our family.”
He continued: “Our top priority will always be our boys. We’re committed to coparenting with love, respect and teamwork so that they feel supported and secure every step of the way.”
He added: As we begin this new chapter, we kindly ask for your understanding and privacy, especially for the sake of our children. We truly appreciate your support and respect during this time.”
Aubrey then dropped a bombshell and revealed the divorce was ‘news’ to her
It seems the news of their split took Aubrey by surprise, as she commented under the post that the whole thing was “news to me.”
Mark also posted the statement to Facebook, under which Aubrey wrote that there was “never a conversation or discussion” about the decision.
On Instagram she responded to a comment that claimed Mark “decided to abandon” his family for a “party lifestyle.”
She replied to the comment: “idk who you are but thank you for this.”
Mark then responded to her, asking, “Please illuminate?” He later added: “You apparently know something I don’t, so please explain what you think you know about me.”
She later cryptically admitted that her world was ‘falling apart’
Aubrey later wrote that her “world is falling apart” following the shocking news of her split from Love Is Blind husband, Mark Cuevas.
She shared: “Life doesn’t stop, even when you feel like your world is falling apart. These boys are and have always been only priority. Lucky to be their mommy.”
Mark then clapped back with his own statement, saying he there are ‘two sides to every story’
The Love Is Blind alumni then shared a statement with PEOPLE, with Mark opening up more about their decision to split.
He shared: “While I chose to share a small part of it publicly, I want to be clear: my goal was never to create drama or disrespect anyone.”
“Aubrey and I, like many couples, faced our share of challenges. Ultimately, we decided to separate in hopes of creating a healthier, more peaceful environment for our kids.
“Right now, my focus is on being a present, loving father and doing what’s best for our boys.”
He explained that there is “a lot being said online that simply isn’t true,” and that he “won’t be engaging in back-and-forths.”
He added: “But I do hope people can remember there are two sides to every story, and more importantly, two children at the center of this.
“I’m doing my best to handle it with grace, and I hope others allow space for healing too.”
He then released yet another statement in which he was forced to deny rumours that he had cheated on Aubrey
Mark denied rumors he had cheated on Aubrey, after she claimed he had been unfaithful and gone partying for days.
She’d said their divorce was “news to her”, but Mark has now said he’s “not here to argue timelines or opinions” in the wake of their split.
Aubrey wrote, “Because this was never a conversation or discussion. He got caught out with women and had to cover his tracks to maintain his ‘public image.’”
She added: “I had no part in this statement and it’s news to me, as it is to everyone else.”
Yet in an interview with TMZ, Mark said he wanted to make it clear there was no infidelity in his relationship with her.
He also said he left a relationship that “wasn’t aligned with the peace and partnership he wants to raise his sons in – and his focus RN is on being a consistent, integral father.” Phew!
