I constantly allow myself to indulge in new interests one being, linguistic determinism; the ideal that a language, limits and determines the thought process of individuals. Due to this concept I picked up French, and am exploring new languages constantly.
Monthly, I submit an entry to '50 Word Fiction' by the Scottish Book Trust and 'The Solstice Prize' by Writing East Midlands. Likewise, I was also a member of the Pupil Leadership Team as an SCQF Gold Pupil Ambassador and Class Representative in Highschool which led me to become the English Literature Representative in my first year of University.
To explore the shift from Highschool to University I completed and passed both Focus West's Top-Up programme, ran by the University of Glasgow, and Step Up To University's Foundation Academy ran by UWS. I too achieved an 'Excellence' award for English, History, Modern Languages, Music, RMPS, and Science from 2018-19. On coming to University, I was awarded 2 scholarships for my dedication and "talent".
