‘Friends haven’t heard from her in weeks’: What’s going on with ‘missing’ Lady Gaga right now

It would seem that Lady Gaga has done a bit of a disappearing act, and close friends of hers have said she’s basically gone missing on them in recent weeks. 

Apart from one video posted on Instagram, everything else seems to have been posted by her management, and Gaga’s seemingly disappeared from public appearances after she wrapped her tour in April. Her last red carpet appearance was also in April, at the premier of The Devil Wears Prada 2, in New York. 

But, it’s not just the public who are seeing less from her, according to reports her close friends and family are completely out of the loop, too.

“No one has seen her or heard from her in over a month,” an insider told MailOnline. “Everyone in her circle thinks she eloped with Michael and is on her honeymoon now, trying to make a baby.”

So, just where is Lady Gaga? 

The publication has reported it believes Lady Gaga is “laying low” in a new $10million mansion in LA, with her fiancé, Michael Polansky. Rumour has it they may have eloped, as Gaga has spoken about doing this in interviews before. She once joked that for her wedding all she wanted was a “courthouse and some Chinese food”.

In March, Gaga said she would “soon” be getting married to Michael, and friends think her disappearing could be to secretly do this. The singer also described being “excited” to start a family. “This was her plan all along, to settle down in her forties,” a further close source told MailOnline.

It would seem one thing that drew her to the area she is now living in is that it offers privacy. She’s now living in an affluent town in California, enjoying an off-grid life. 

“No one really recognised her, no one asked for an autograph. It’s not that kind of town, people are too rich and powerful to do gawking fan stuff,” a local, who spotted Lady Gaga in a bar once, said. 

Speaking of Lady Gaga’s home, another local added: “No way you can see the home from the road. It is on a big plot of land with rolling lawns and mature trees all around it. If you drive by, all you can see is green.

“It is gated all around, you would have to jump the fence to get onto the property. But there is no way you can do that as there are security cameras all over every property and there are cops everywhere. Everyone is super rich there, so there is a lot of privacy and security.”
