Who the MAFS UK 2025 cast should really be coupled with, based on what they asked for

As usual, the MAFS UK experts have paired some absolute polar opposites together, and lots of the matches are lost causes, so I’m here to fix it for them. Here’s who everyone on MAFS should actually be coupled up with, based mostly on what they said they wanted at first, and vibes.

Grace and Dean

I think we can all agree that Sarah and Dean were mismatched. Their whole relationship so far has been them forcing a connection while Sarah continuously gets the ick. So here’s my hot take – I think Dean would be happier with Grace.

Grace needs a guy with a little more whimsy. What Sarah finds icky, Grace would find endearing, especially as she doesn’t seem to enjoy Ashley’s edgy humour. Maybe some plant puns would land better.

Sarah and Joe

This one’s kind of obvious. Sarah said her physical attraction to Dean would improve if he “lost a bit of weight” and got some tattoos. Here’s Joe – covered in lots of impressive tats, and from what Sarah has said about her exes, definitely more her type than Dean is.

She came into the experiment saying she wanted to try something different from her usual type but that clearly isn’t working, so why not just give her exactly what she wants?

Julia-Ruth and Leo

We don’t know loads about Leo yet so okay, hear me out. Julia-Ruth is a creative girl – she’s a dancer, big into fashion and expresses herself very freely. Leo describes himself as “bombastic”, which I think matches Julia-Ruth’s energy perfectly.

He also specifically said he’s looking for someone who’s artsy and creative with a lot of edge, while Julia-Ruth said that she’s looking for someone who is down-to-earth and ambitious. These two would balance each other out perfectly.

Nelly and Divarni

Divarni came into the experiment looking for someone who has a “big smile and nice eyes”. He also wanted his wife to be quirky and goal-oriented. It makes sense why the experts thought he was a good match with Julia-Ruth, but I actually think he’s better suited for Nelly.

They’re both quite chill people who are career-focused but also care a lot about family. After the last few chaotic episodes, Nelly and Stephen’s relationship isn’t looking good. A swap might be just what they need.

We’ll have to see how the couples decide to shake up the relationships as the season develops, but from what we’ve seen so far, some swaps definitely need to be made.
