What the Love Is Blind UK season two cast actually do as jobs, according to their LinkedIns
Ofc Javen is a LinkedIn premium kinda guy
One of the first things we learned about the cast of Love Is Blind UK season two was their confusing jobs. Netflix does this every year, it gives us really confusing umbrella terms for what they do for work, with no explanation. Because like, what do you mean Patrick is a human design coach? You can’t just drop that and expect us to accept it.
It turns out we have business owners, CEOs and people who have worked for their companies for over 10 years in the lineup this year. What has been shared on the show as a simple job title, has a lot more behind it.
Here is a rundown of the jobs the cast of Love Is Blind UK season two actually have, according to their LinkedIns.
Kieran

Kieran vastly underplayed his work on the show. It turns out he founded a super swanky business, and it’s now worth millions. Yes, millions! When he was just 19 he launched a brand alongside his brother called Excel, a UK Esports company. Esports is basically gamers playing competitively, and earning potentially huge salaries.
The brand has become one of Britain’s most successful Esports teams in League of Legends and Fortnite. According to his LinkedIn, Kieran founded one of the UK’s first professional Esports teams. Excel is estimated to be worth millions now, and has been all the way since 2014.
His LinkedIn profile reads: “A digital marketeer, gaming and esports expert, lawyer by background, with a history of achievement in sports. An ambitious leader and strategic thinker who creates business development opportunities.”
Ashleigh

Ashleigh’s job has caused a lot of drama on Love Is Blind UK. Billy said he’d previously dated cabin crew, and the lifestyle didn’t work for him. I don’t think she’ll be giving up her job anytime soon, as Ashleigh is a flight service manager at Virgin Atlantic, and has held the position for over 10 years. She previously worked for Qantas airlines, before moving to Virgin and working her way up. A very impressive career ladder!
Her former colleagues have gushed over her in LinkedIn recommendations. “I had the absolute privilege to be Ashleigh’s manager during her time as a Crew Performance Manager in my team,” one person said.
“Ashleigh naturally transitioned into management brilliantly, bringing fresh energy and dedication to the team. Ashleigh is an energy radiator and always went above and beyond for her team, this was also evidenced in her team engagement scores. Leading a team of 260 crew is no mean feat, Ashleigh’s approachable leadership style and effective communication fostered a collaborative atmosphere that significantly improved team dynamics and overall performance.”
Ashleigh also used to work for the ambulance service, and attended The Brit School!
Billy

via LinkedIn
Billy has been very proud of his work as a physical trainer for the army on the show. He’s lifestyle is completely centred around it. His LinkedIn reflects that too, further describing his job as: “1st Battalion The Royal Anglian Regiment – Royal Army Physical Training Instructor.”
His profile shows him in a white tux, and in his bio Billy has said: “Highly motivated and driven, I bring over 15 years of invaluable military experience to the table. My career commenced as a Power Engineer in the esteemed Royal Signals, and later, I successfully transitioned to become a qualified Physical Training Instructor within the Royal Army Physical Training Corps (RAPTC).” He worked for the army for over 17 years.
Katisha

via LinkedIn
Katisha’s LinkedIn is giving business woman girlie. She’s a makeup artist and nanny, and her LinkedIn states she specialises in bridal makeup and soft glam. She’s also a model and entrepreneur. Shockingly, Katisha has actually managed to make a LinkedIn profile fun.
According to her profile, Katisha has worked for herself as a makeup artist for just over eight years, and has been modelling for three. She’s also worked in child care and learning support since 2018. She follows Steven Bartlett and Paris Hilton, which is a strange combo, but there we go.
Jed

via LinkedIn
Um, Jed works on HS2?! As in the high speed rail link?! Ok! He is currently a configuration manager for HS2, where he has worked for over two years. Does he have an email address where I can ask when it’s finally going to get completed and if train tickets out of Euston will get cheaper?
In the skills section of his profile, Jed has kept it a little more fun and a little less professional and just listed “football” and “football coaching”. He was a footballer for four years, in Beirut. Casually.
Javen

via LinkedIn
We have another Love Is Blind UK founder on our hands! Javen was described as a health coach when he joined the show, but there is so much more to his work than this.
According to his LinkedIn, Javen is the co-founder of Scaling Edge, an AI consultancy firm. He helps companies audit their internal processes, sales and marketing, and more – creating reports to help them be more efficient. He is also a business coach, and health coach. Part of his health coach job is in the corporate sector, and he helps office workers get fit and workout more.
He has LinkedIn premium and the maximum amount of connections, of course.
Kal

via LinkedIn
I’m really not sure what to say about Kal’s LinkedIn. On the show, it was said that for work Kal is a gym owner. Fine. No questions asked. But, according to LinkedIn he’s an account manager and lives in Dubai. With bleach blonde hair. I’m a bit confused.
Demola

via LinkedIn
Demola was fumbled on Love Is Blind, but he can’t be too mad because if his LinkedIn is anything to go by, he’s successful off his own back. Currently, he works as a financial analyst at eBay, where he has worked for three months. He’s had a bunch of former financial analyst jobs, at big companies such as Sainsbury’s and Wickes. He’s also done volunteering work, working as a football coach.
Patrick
It doesn’t appear that Patrick has a LinkedIn, but I can’t leave you without giving some sort of explanation of his job. No LinkedIn, but of course Patrick has his own website, dedicated to his work as a human design coach and following your spleen.
According to his Instagram, his job is a “system that shows a map of your unique self” and is a “tool that shows you how your energy is uniquely built to work.” That doesn’t help at all. He added: “It combines ancient wisdom and modern science to give you a personal blueprint for making decisions, using your gifts, and living with more alignment and less burnout.”
His website has explained the job a little more. On there, Patrick said: “I help burned-out professionals stop forcing life and start aligning with the energy that actually works for them. Through Human Design, I’ll help you restore your vitality, activate your gifts, and turn inner alignment into real-world abundance.”
I’ll never really understand.
