All the times Bonnie Blue has defended her viral ‘barely legal’ videos, and it’s exhausting

‘Take it to the government’

Bonnie Blue has never exactly shied away from controversy. In fact, she leans right into it. One of the biggest talking points around her career is her habit of sleeping with “barely legal” 18-year-olds, and it’s something she’s defended multiple times in interviews.

From explaining it as a savvy business move to insisting she’s actually “teaching” them, Bonnie’s made her stance pretty clear: She’s not stopping any time soon.

So, here’s a full rundown of every time Bonnie Blue has addressed the backlash and defended sleeping with “barely legals”.

‘They’re legal’

Speaking on Stand Out TV, Bonnie was asked outright if she has a problem with sleeping with people who are “literally borderline underage.” Her response was a straight no because “they’re 18.”

When the host pushed her on whether she’d go for someone who was 17, she shot back, “Well, no, because that’d be illegal.” She added that she’d “happily take someone on their 18th birthday, no problem” and told people to “take it to the government” if they had an issue with the age.

The host accused her of “exploiting children’s bodies,” to which she replied, “An 18-year-old’s not a child. They’re legal.”

It’s a business move

In an interview with Metro, Bonnie revealed that her “barely legal” content started during Schoolies in Australia, when loads of freshly-18-year-olds were messaging her. She said that from a business point of view, it’s one of the most searched-for categories online, especially “school girls”, but she spotted a gap in the market for “school boys.”

She openly admitted she calls them “barely legal teens” for attention, because the more people talk about it, the more people know about her, and the more 18-year-olds she can sleep with.

It portrays consent more clearly

Bonnie also claimed her content is actually better for showing consent compared to fake schoolgirl porn, because the people she works with are clearly willing and eager from the start.

“When they’re doing fake schoolgirl scenes, the girl’s pretending she doesn’t want it, then it turns into a rough sex scene. That blurs the lines of consent. With me, they’re clearly consenting from the start and they clearly want it. Mine’s a lot better to watch in terms of educational value.”

‘I enjoy teaching them’

When asked why she goes for 18-year-olds, Bonnie told The Joe Podcast that she genuinely likes sleeping with people who are new to sex because she enjoys “teaching them.” She said she shows them what she enjoys, asks what they enjoy, and teaches them safe sex practices like wearing condoms, which, according to her, a lot of 18-year-olds have never done.

Bonnie also took the chance to criticise traditional sex education, calling it outdated and unrealistic. She argued that younger people would be more likely to listen if it came from someone “relevant” rather than a teacher they don’t take seriously.
