Dejon’s brother responds to backlash after ‘body shaming’ jab about Meg’s sister on Love Island
He compared Meg’s sister to Miss Trunchbull from Matilda
Dejon’s brother, Isiah Noel-Williams, has responded to the backlash he ignited through his “vile” comment about Meg’s sister when she visited the Love Island villa.
Dejon might be the one in the 2025 Love Island villa, but the rest of his family are certainly hogging their 15 minutes of fame. His sister and mother were slammed after their brief apperence on the show, and his football brother landed himself in hot water on TikTok.
“Last night’s episode? My brother’s picked the wrong family,” Isiah said in the TikTok. “Meg’s sister reminds me of…. what’s her name, Miss Churchill from Matilda. The way she moves, the way she talks and that? Oh, hey, it’s not it. That family, I’ll be real – [scoffs]. No, it’s not about that. I can’t lie.”
Though he did misname the iconic film character, most people understood that Isiah was comparing Meg’s sister to Miss Trunchbull, who in the original book is described as having a “neck similar to that of a buffalo and “legs resembling hams.”

Naturally, people claimed that “disrespect must run in the family” because all members of the Noel-Williams household seem to be awful.
One person said, “So the whole family is awful, got it. You can absolutely see how Dejon is a product of his upbringing!”
“If Meg had any sense, she would run a mile from Dejon and his family,” another said.
Though Dejon’s brother initially deleted the video, he uploaded it again afterwards and has since responded to the backlash.

Dejon’s brother clarified his comments… kinda

Dejon’s brother, Isiah, has been doing daily recaps of Love Island, which is definitely not helping those clout-chasing accusations. During a follow-up yesterday, he dove back into the drama he created from his initial video.
“Alright, cool. One thing you lot need to understand, I was not body shaming Meg’s sister, yeah?” he argued. “All you lot that think I was, that’s not what I was trying to do, yeah?”
So, what was he trying to do? Anyone with their head screwed on would assume it was a comparison of looks, but if not that, then what? Did Meg’s sister remind him of Miss Trunchbull because of her harsh stance on education? Did we all miss the part when Meg’s sister confessed to being a former Olympian? Make it make sense – or at least own what you willingly put out on the internet.
@isiahnw I’m sorry Mrs Churchill #loveislanduk #loveisland #fyp #dejon #loveislanddebrief
“I’m sorry, Mrs Churchill,” he captioned the post, this time a deliberate mistake.
People still weren’t buying it in the comments, as one person wrote: “I’m still not over the Miss Trunchbull comment.”
“The whole family is a walking red flag. Can’t wait for Dejon to come out and see how disliked he really is,” another said.
