Love Island 2018 legend announces shock engagement with incredible pictures

A Love Island 2018 legend has just dropped the news of her engagement. And lots of us are shook because… did anyone even know she was in a relationship? She kept this one quiet!

Ellie Brown, who left the show with Charlie Brake but it didn’t work out, shared her news on Instagram. She posted photos of her and her boyfriend, and her absolutely enormous ring, on a boat. It looks as though he proposed on the trip, in America.

“My most confident yes,” the photos are captioned. In one photo, you can see a letter her boyfriend prepared for her, and they then had dinner together on the boat. The vibes are immaculate.

Fellow Islander and Ellie’s close friend Kaz Crossley said in the comments: “Still crying. She’s a FIANCÉE. Soooo beautiful love you so much.” Molly-Mae Hague added: “Omg !!!! Congratulations girly!!!!!”. Other Love Island legends such as Jess Harding, Adam Collard, Molly Smith, Chloe Burrows, Demi Jones and Yewande Biala all wished Ellie well and congratulations.

Ellie has an Instagram highlight with a few photos of her boyfriend in, but other than that, she’s kept him pretty private. They went public in January last year, but not much else is known about him. From dates in the highlight, it looks as though they may have been dating for a couple of years.

Ellie isn’t the only Love Island 2018 star to make a shock announcement this year. A couple of months ago, Idris revealed he has become a dad. In the wild Instagram post, he described his news as “a curveball” and “unexpected”. He added: “I’m now a father. I didn’t see this chapter coming.”

Congrats, Ellie! We’re just now waiting for the reveal of her mystery man!
