Still, the lives of the stupidly rich have always been strangely captivating, if only to roll our eyes.

The Jeff and Lauren affair is already proving to be quite the controversial moment, with widespread protests happening at the destination and people condemning the gluttonous show of wealth online. The shindig has become a full-on sh*t-show as a result, with organisers now scrambling to change the narrative.

It’s been well documented how Lauren Sánchez has a close relationship with many members of the Kardashian clan, with Kim earlier gassing up their relationship in an interview with Vogue.
