This scandalous MAFS Australia 2025 couple appear to be back together and I’m confused

A MAFS Australia 2025 couple have posted a video that has left people thinking they’re back together after the show. I can’t keep up.

One couple who well and truly should have been over since the show is Carina and Paul. They had many ups and downs during the experiment. Paul punched a wall after Carina’s dating history was brought up, and he then foolishly went on a date with someone else during final test week.

Carina managed to get her chance to say what she needed to say, and brutally dumped Paul at final vows. Then, at the reunion, Paul came back blazing, and suddenly turned the entire situation on Carina. He said she hadn’t been willing to forgive him, and questioned if they were ever a good match.

“There’s no hope whatsoever with me and Carina – she is a big snob. I was giving her the benefit of the doubt at some point but she certainly is 100 per cent,” he said about her. Basically, his ego had taken a major bruising. But from that, it seemed pretty clear Carina wanted nothing more to do with Paul, and he was focusing on feeling sorry for himself now, anyway.

So one thing I think nobody was expecting was Paul and Carina cosying up for a shoot together. Carina shared a video with Rhi, Jeff and Paul on TikTok, as they did a magazine shoot together for Women’s Day. She and Paul look strangely close to each other.

“Hi we’re back. Thank you,” the video is captioned. What do you mean you’re back? Of course people are very confused. “Are Paul and Carina back together?,” one person said on Reddit. “I seriously don’t get it,” another added. “Surely these two must hate each other.”

Clarifying where they stand now, Carina told 9Entertainment they’re “quite civil” but that’s it. She did admit they message a fair bit on Instagram, though. Not this, please not this!

Paul was asked about the rumours during a Q&A on Instagram. “Have you and Carina gotten back together after the show?” one person asked.

“No we haven’t,” Paul replied. “We both went our separate ways. The good thing is there is no hard feelings between her and I. We are on speaking terms, which is good.” It’s also been rumoured Paul is dating someone else, completely different, from the show. I’m losing track!
