At the time of Liam Payne’s death, he had £28,595,000. Now various debts and expenses have been paid, there is £24,280,000.
He died without a will
If someone from England or Wales dies without a will, then their money and possessions are transferred to their relatives. This is called “intestacy”. Usually, a person’s spouse has first claim to someone’s estate, followed by their children, then other close blood relatives. Liam Payne wasn’t married, so it seems likely that his son Bear will inherit most of his estate. The money will probably be held in a trust until Bear is an adult.

Court documents show Cheryl Tweedy (Liam Payne’s ex-partner, and the mother of Bear) is one of the administrators of Liam Payne’s estate. This means that she is responsible for managing his money and possessions, paying off any taxes, and transferring the money. Richard Mark Bray, a music industry lawyer, has also been appointed an administrator of Liam Payne’s estate.
