The Married at First Sight (MAFS) Australia 2025 reunion is just around the corner, and, as expected, the drama is already in full swing. But this time, it’s happening behind the scenes. According to Daily Mail Australia, producers reportedly offered extra cash to several of the biggest contestants who won’t be joining the reunion. They also promised a more flattering edit to appear in the highly anticipated finale. And some cast members are furious about that.

So, who’s skipping the MAFS Australia 2025 reunion?
Well, several contestants have made it clear they want nothing more to do with MAFS. Tim Gromie, who left after brutally rejecting Katie Johnstone, won’t be returning. Jake Luik, whose infamous ranking challenge sparked widespread backlash, has also opted out. Morena Farina, who previously slammed the show’s ethics and even accused production of manipulating footage with AI, has washed her hands of the franchise. And then there’s Lauren Hall, whose no-nonsense attitude split viewer opinion—she, too, has declined to show up.
MAFS cast upset over special deals for some
Apparently, producers struggled to get all the season’s biggest personalities back for the reunion. “Several participants were left fuming after learning that certain cast members were reportedly offered extra money to return for the reunion,” an insider claimed. “Some were even guaranteed ‘good edits’ in exchange for staying longer on the show.”
With some of the season’s most controversial figures missing, producers reportedly had to sweeten the deal to convince others to attend. We’ll see if the extra cash and good edits keep the reunion explosive.
