Awkward! MAFS’ Adrian left jobless and couch surfing after failing to make bank as an influencer

I don’t think brand deal packages come with subtitles, sorry

The reality TV show to influencer pipeline is a very real thing, and yet, MAFS Australia’s Adrian Araouzou has been left jobless and couch surfing with other cast members after failing to make it as an influencer.

Look, there’s no chance he’s leaving MAFS Australia in a happy marriage – he might as well get something else. He’s made no attempt to mask his obvious intention of becoming the next Molly-Mae, creating a joint account with his twin brother James, beefing with people in the comments, and all around spending way too much time on TikTok. But now it looks like his efforts were practically fruitless because he’s said to be jumping from couch to couch in Australia.

Adrian

In an admittedly hilarious report about the state of the MAFS Australia cast after season 12, So Dramatic revealed how multiple cast members have been left without jobs. Specifically, Adrian “doesn’t have a job” and has been “couch surfing” at co-star Eliot Donovan‘s house, which might explain why they are posting so many TikToks of one another and recreating the season’s biggest viral scenes.

“He was really expecting his businesses to take off and become a full-time influencer, but it’s clear that’s not going to happen now,” an insider said.

Adrian is not the only cast member to have fallen on hard times since the show wrapped, with Ryan Donelly unable to secure full-time employment, Jamie Marinos working a “few hours” a week as a bottle girl, and Sierah Swepstone still looking at her next steps. Ironically, Jacqui Burfoot is doing the best out of all of them with a flourishing jewellery business, an upcoming apparel line with Clint Rice, and an in-demand Cameo account.

Even Tim Gromie has managed to get another job in the teaching sector.

MAFS’ Jamie has the best chance of becoming an influencer, sorry Adrian

In the same article, a source revealed how Jamie is allegedly gearing up to fully launch her influencer career off the back of her MAFS Australia success.

“She went on MAFS with her sights set on becoming a full-time influencer and media personality… [She] has pretty much been waiting around for the show to finish airing and she gets her accounts back,” a source told So Dramatic. “That’s why she didn’t try to get back to her professional job as she wants to be available for whatever opportunities may come her way after the show.”

Josie Gagliano, director of Sydney talent and PR agency RoJo Consulting, earlier told Yahoo how Jamie could be banking double digits from brand deals by the end of the year, specifically $35,000.

“I think Jamie will do well after the show because she is outspoken and has worn her heart on her sleeve,” she said. “Social media followers can build, but if you are not authentic and have a habit of being controversial or just plain nasty, nobody is buying what you are selling. Consumers do not forget and will vote with their money.”
