MAFS Australia PULLED off air forever as male cast members finally deemed ‘too toxic’ for TV

It’s finally happened. It’s been confirmed to The Tab that MAFS Australia is to be pulled off air FOR GOOD because the show has deemed male cast members “too toxic” for TV. I’m in shock?!

In recent seasons of the show, there have been more and more cases of cast members turning out to be, shall we say, absolute wrong-uns. Tim last year was in a high-security prison for drug offences before the show, and other men have been called out for their toxic behaviours towards their partners in the experiment. Some this year have had sketchy pasts exposed whilst the show has been going on.

Now, a show insider has told The Tab it’s all become too much and bosses can’t be bothered to deal with the terrible men anymore. You know what, I’m gutted our fav show will be over, but fair enough.

“The show has had some big decisions to make,” the source dished. “Recently the men in particular have faced a lot of backlash. It’s hard work for those behind the scenes.”

They added the choice hasn’t been made lightly, but after a chat with the experts, producers decided to pull the plug.

“The experts are tired, the producers are tired, everyone is tired,” the source admitted. “The show will be coming to an end. There may be future behind the scenes discussions about a new format that may encourage less god awful people to apply, but right now, MAFS Australia is no more. We hope the audiences get to enjoy the end of the current season, and aren’t too frustrated. We want them to understand.”
