MAFS legend Lucinda reveals the super cute way she’s supporting 2025 bride Katie

MAFS Australia legend Lucinda Light has revealed she’s very much team Katie, and is supporting the 2025 bride in the sweetest way. Of course, we all love Lucinda from being the best part of the 2024 series, and now it’s heartbreaking to watch how Katie is being treated on the current show.

Katie has been matched by the experts with Tim Gromie. He’s been off with her from the very start. At their wedding day he said there wasn’t “a spark” and then said that classic reality TV man line: “I like petite blondes.” Sigh. He then questioned whether he should even attend their honeymoon, and was called out by fellow cast members for gaslighting Katie.

Just to make matters worse, when Katie and Tim were set to move in together for the experiment, he was nowhere to be seen. Instead she stayed in the apartment alone, and watched how in Tim’s audition tape he’d claimed he didn’t care for initial attraction. He literally said to the experts he’d be willing to give it a go with someone he didn’t feel a spark with.

It’s all been pretty awful, but we can always rely on Lucinda to fix things. Lucinda called Katie “divine” and “radiant” in an Instagram post. Why can I actually hear her saying that in her voice?! Plus, she’s made a super cute gesture towards the new bride, who she said seems to be having a similar experience to the one she had on MAFS Australia.

I want her to truly feel us standing behind her in solidarity.”

She added: “I’m really feeling for her and the journey she’s on, it’s rough. This experiment demands immense courage and vulnerability, and last night, my heart shattered for her. She deserves so much more! What a queen!”
