‘Waste of budget’: All the shady things Leo from Love Is Blind has said about season eight

They need to give him a podcast at this point

Leo was one of the favourite cast members of Love Is Blind season seven. He originally was a bit of a villain, and ended up not making it to the holiday with Brittany, whom he proposed to. They’re actually still friends and Leo has become a bit of a Love Is Blind icon along with his day job as an art dealer. Besides flexing his Rolex at every given moment, he’s been watching Love Is Blind season eight along with the rest of us and had some very interesting opinions. Here’s a rundown of all the shady things Leo from Love Is Blind has said about season eight.

He roasted the Love Is Blind producers for “dropping” money on using popular songs

In a video posted to his Instagram, Leo complained about the “waste” of budget the Love Is Blind producers splurged on the songs this season. Instead of pretty bland music, this season has included “best hits from 2015 to 2021” in Leo’s opinion. He also claimed he asked ChatGPT how much it would have cost to use each song and he claimed it was “one million” each. Not sure how factually correct those stats are but he still has a valid point. Did we need to hear Sabrina Carpenter while Dave was waffling on about how much he loves his sister?

He reviewed Madison’s artwork

Leo also took it upon himself to review Madison’s artwork. He said her art was “not what I expected,” and that it had been implied on the show that she was an artist by profession.

“She may be an *aspiring* painter, and look, there’s plenty of art out there that is way way less talented than Madison that makes tons of money… so I’m not saying that she couldn’t make it. But, I do understand why there is this reaction because I don’t think the vast majority of galleries would sign this kind of art,” he explained.

However, he left the door open for any future business opportunities and told her to “hit me up.” Although, judging by Madison’s reaction, she won’t be reaching out any time soon.

He gave his thoughts on the Devin/Virginia/Brittany love triangle

Leo gave his opinion on the Devin and Brittany breakup and claimed Devin was getting some “unfair heat” for feeling uncomfortable about Brittany’s sexuality.

“I didn’t view it as him saying he disapproves of Brittany’s choices, he was just saying he didn’t know if he wanted someone he’s dated to have that past. Personally, I would be okay with [Brittany’s past],” he said.

He also dissed the Madison/Alex/Mason/Meg love square

Somebody needs to hire Leo as a commentator for Love Is Blind because he just can’t stop giving his opinion on the drama. He also gave a full rundown of the Alex/Madison/Mason/Meg love triangle, or square, claiming he was” qualified” to give his opinion after being in a love triangle in season seven. He said it’s what makes the show “interesting.” I can’t blame him there.
