Sam from Love Is Blind UK reveals who he’s friends with from the cast and it’s surprising
Of course he is besties with Leo!
Sam from London, or as we know him, Sam from Love Is Blind UK, had one hell of a trip on the show. From dropping his infamous “I think I love you” line to leaving the reunion on tense terms, his relationship with the rest of the cast was rocky, to say the least. In an exclusive interview with The Tab, Sam revealed to us who he’s still friends with from the Love Is Blind UK cast and it’s honestly pretty surprising.
The mixer event was chaos behind the cameras

Sam first explained that people got the “wrong end of the stick” at the mixer event, which was where most of the tension kicked off. We all remember *that* fight between Sam and Benaiah, but before that, Freddie seemed pretty annoyed with Sam for chatting with Catherine. However, things really weren’t like that.
“It didn’t really show what the conversation was,” Sam said. “She was trying to introduce me to her best friends in London.” Sam had broken off his engagement with Nicole at this point and claimed Catherine was trying to set him up and help him find love again.
Who is Sam friends with from the Love Is Blind UK cast now?
On a lighter note, Sam is still friends with Catherine, and her new boyfriend from the pods, Jake Singleton-Hill.
“I’m forever grateful for Catherine. She stuck by me, and said that I didn’t really do anything that bad. She told people to give me a chance.”
He also said he was “very close” to her partner Jake, and that the three of them had hung out a fair bit after the show.
What about the rest of the cast?

Unfortunately, that’s it for Sam’s friendships in the UK cast.
“A few others I expected a little bit more from, and it’s a shame that people couldn’t detach themselves from that. I spent a month with them, they know I’m not as bad as the show made me out to be,” he said.
However, it’s not all doom and gloom with the Love Is Blind cast. Sam is actually close with a lot of the US cast, and many of them reached out to him after his time on the show. One familiar face is Leo, everybody’s favourite art dealer from season seven.
“I’ve had the most amazing conversations with the cast from the American seasons. Leo Braudy reached out to me and asked me how I got through this, and I gave him some really good advice. He’s come out the other side.
“Shayne from season four also reached out to me in my darkest moment and told me I’m going to be okay. Jackie and Clay all messaged me and it’s been so amazing. It’s a shame no one from the UK has. They couldn’t put what they saw past the edit. They know the real me.”
The reunion wasn’t all that it seemed

Sam told The Tab that he was told turning up to the reunion was “going to be fine” and that everyone had moved on from the chaos of the show, but he described feeling like it was the “complete opposite.”
“I’m not saying I was perfect at all, but the reunion was the worst moment and I still had no one reach out. It was a lot different compared with Leo’s reception.”
Maybe he didn’t find friendship, but it’s water under the bridge now that he’s found his new girlfriend.
