Madison from Love Is Blind almost collabed with Leo, before he slated her art in hilarious video

‘Her art was NOT what I expected’

Madison from Love Is Blind season eight is pretty well known as being an artist, and if you cast your minds back to last October, you’ll remember Leo – everyone’s favourite art dealer. Since Madison has been a new face on our Netflix screens, Leo had the bright idea of a collaboration between the two artsiest Love Is Blind contestants. Great idea, right? Well, Leo had second thoughts after he actually saw her art, and the video is actually hilarious.

In the video, he said he didn’t want to use his platform to “rip on her art for a few minutes” because that’s “not productive,” and despite popular belief, he’s “not an art critic.”

Leo then claimed he spoke with Madison on the phone about a potential collaboration between them before the show came out. In fact, the reason he reached out to Madison wasn’t because of their mutual love of art, it was because he’d heard on the backend of the show that she was going to be controversial and get some hate. He rang her to check in and make sure she was handling a negative spotlight okay.

He then sensed a “business opportunity” because he found out she was an artist and started “seeing money signs.” However, she “didn’t jump at the opportunity” about showing her art to him – and he soon learned why.

Leo said her art was “not what I expected,” and that it had been implied on the show that she was an artist by profession.

“She may be an *aspiring* painter, and look, there’s plenty of art out there that is way way less talented than Madison that make tons of money… so I’m not saying that she couldn’t make it. But, I do understand why there is this reaction because I don’t think the vast majority of galleries would sign this kind of art,” he explained.

However, he left the door open for any future business opportunities and told her to “hit me up.” Very interesting indeed!

Leo also gave a very in-depth review of Madison’s art, claiming that it “may appear simplistic to the uneducated eye.”

I think the real message is Madison should keep painting, and Leo should keep making hilarious videos on his Instagram. He’s a Love Is Blind icon for a reason!
