Madison from Love Is Blind finally addressed *that* moment Mason called her Megs in the pods

Love Is Blind season eight had one wild moment in the pods that made everybody at home do a double take, as well as Madison and Mason in the pods themselves. As if the drama of the love triangle with Madison, Mason and Alex wasn’t enough, Mason made us all gasp when he said the wrong name on his date with Madison.

The awkward moment happened when Mason and Madison were on a pod date with headphones and glowing hula hoops. “I feel really happy right now,” Mason told Madison. “I like you, Megs.” The slip up was very obvious to anyone watching – with or without subtitles.

In the clip, Madison asked him to repeat what he said and he just said “I like you.” She replied with “you like *me*?” like she had heard his little name slip up. Nothing else was said about it in the pods, but the internet have had an absolute field day after hearing it.

After being asked by literally every Love Is Blind fan ever, Madison finally addressed whether she really heard Mason call her Megs.

Now the show has been aired, Madison has watched the show back and given her verdict on what happened. However, the truth is actually pretty underwhelming.

“I’ve been asked this question so much, and I just fear you guys are going to be so disappointed because I don’t remember. Like genuinely, I didn’t even notice that until people started tagging me,” she explained on TikTok.

She also added that she “probably would’ve said something” if she’d remembered it happening in the pods, so it’s likely that she just missed Mason’s comment.
