Two Love Island All Stars couples were told off for breaking this major rule in the villa

I would need a notebook to keep track of all these strict rules

There are so many random rules the Love Island All Stars cast have to stick to in the villa. No gossiping on Saturdays? No reading books? No vaping unless you already declared it?

This year, two different couples got into hot water for breaking the same rule. It turns out ITV are really strict about how the Islanders behave at mealtimes. Although the Islanders are free to make their own breakfasts, lunch and dinner are catered. ITV don’t like putting these mealtimes on the show. Girls and boys have to eat separately and can’t discuss any drama. This ensures nothing interest happens, so these scenes don’t need to be shown on TV.

Two different Love Island: All Stars couples have revealed they clashed with this rule.

Ekin-Su and Curtis admitted in an interview with Closer that the ITV producers told off Ekin-Su for repeatedly breaking this rule

Ekin said: “I plated up my boyfriend’s food every day.”

Curtis added, “Then she got told off! See what happens when you try and be nice? In the words of the Wicked cast: ‘No good deed goes unpunished, no act of charity goes unresented.'”

Grace and Luca explained on the Wednesdays podcast they tried to speak to each other as much as possible in the villa. Nawww. They even attempted to cover the microphone near their bed with a pillow so they could keep chatting without it being on camera. But the ITV producers told them off for doing that. Grace and Luca wanted to keep chatting at mealtimes too, but the producers didn’t allow them to do that.

Grace said: “They split girls and boys off. They don’t want you to have chats over lunch.

“They’re always filming, but like people put hoodies on and will change and stuff. So they’re not showing that as a proper scene.

“Apparently us eating isn’t sexy,” Luca joked.
