Kylie Jenner and Timothee Chalamet’s matching rings cost a bomb, but people think they’re on loan. They wore the cute jewellery pieces at the BAFTAS, when David Tennant made a joke that Kylie and Timothee‘s lookalikes are in the audience. She even mouthed to the award night cameras, “It’s me,” after his joke fell awkwardly flat.

Kylie and Timothee’s Panther Cartier rings cost $76K each. Okay, so we know they’re both multimillionaires, and it’s not exactly going to break their bank to buy them. The white gold rings are the shape of a lion and were worn on their right ring fingers. They’ve been dating for two years but this is the first time they’ve worn matching jewellery!

The rings each have 285 diamonds totalling 2.39 carats, which comes with emeralds eyes and onyx noses. It’s not the only Cartier jewellery piece Timothee owns, because he often wears a watch from the luxury brand. He also recently wore a pink Chrome Hearts fit at an awards night made by Cartier, so we can safely say he loves the brand.

Kylie also wore very expensive earrings, trinity bracelet and a necklace while supporting her boyfriend at the BAFTAS, as he was nominated for an award for A Complete Unknown. Some people think their rings were perhaps a Valentine’s gift to one another, while a theory the rings are a promise to each other is floating about.

Firstly, Timothee is an ambassador for Cartier, so he already gets a lot of free jewellery from the designer brand. It’s essentially free promo for them to wear the rings at the BAFTAs. Another tell-tale sign is that the rings look too big for them to wear all the time, as well as the fact this is the first moment anyone’s spotted them on their fingers.

I imagine that’s hot publicity if both of them are wearing matching ones.” Another agreed and penned, “That’s what I’m wondering because neither of them look like they fit.” It looks like most people are in agreement they are loaned, because his looked “like it was about to fall off.”
