Oh! This is the missing context to Elma and Ekin-Su’s heated dinner clash we all needed

I knew there had to be more to it

Elma and Ekin-Su have had another massive clash on All Stars, and dumped Islanders Tina and Chuggs have provided some much-needed missing context.

Things got heated at the dinner table after Elma and Sammy savagely asked the public if Curtis and Ekin-Su are the “weakest couple”.

Curtis said there was “spite” behind the question and Elma kicked off, saying: “Oh please Curtis, have a day off, babe.”

This led to a sudden heated argument with Elma firing shots at Ekin-Su, but it seems as though something had actually been brewing for a long while.

Speaking on the Love Island: The Morning After podcast days before, Chuggs said: “I think there’s a little thing still brewing with Ekin and Elma.”

“Basically Ekin still thinks that the grudge is well held,” Tina added – so Elma was still holding a grudge after Ekin-Su kissed Sammy in the heart rate challenge.

This wasn’t really made clear on the show and everyone assumed they had made up and put the whole feud behind them. Clearly not!

Elma obviously took the first opportunity she got to snap at Ekin once again for kissing her man, which she was super angry about.

At the time, they clashed over it and Elma ended things by saying she can “forgive” but is finding the “forgetting” part a lot harder.

Then, they came to blows once again when Sammy apologised to Ekin-Su for pieing her during the Snog, Marry, Pie game.

“Don’t apologise to her! She’s muggy mate!” Elma shouted, starting an argument with her fellow Islander once again.

In tonight’s episode, the heat is set to continue after the All Stars dinner as Ekin-Su and Curtis decide they need to tell Elma and Sammy how they’re feeling.

Whilst the other Islanders watch, Ekin-Su addresses the ongoing grudge, saying: “I felt like ever since the heart rate challenge there’s been a weird grudge between you two and us and you haven’t let it go.”

Sammy replies: “This doesn’t have to get out of hand… it could have gone wrong for you and it didn’t, I’m happy about that.:

Ekin-Su then adds: “I’m sick of it and I’m just frustrated, I’ve been quiet for days. I’m telling you exactly how I feel, you’ve had something against me since the heart rate challenge, let it go.”

Elma insists they already “sorted it out the other day” and says: “You’re getting on my nerves.” Ekin then adds: “It’s a game let it go.”

Their disagreement ends with Elma walking away to chat with the girls in the dressing room.
