Lily Phillips was stopped at the US border and interrogated about her paid work?!

Er, so Lily Phillips was stopped at the US border while attempting to get to an adult entertainment fan convention. Apparently border control very nearly didn’t let her into the country?

Lily Phillips travelled from her bougie west London apartment to Los Angeles for the X3 Expo – an annual adult entertainment fan convention. Yup, apparently that exists.

She had four drinks and ate a sausage on the flight. Lily Phillips posted a TikTok joking she was drunk on the flight, and asked if there was scientific evidence that alcohol affects people differently at higher altitudes. She really is a #womaninSTEM.

Her journey hit a snag, though, when she arrived at the airport. Apparently the US border control refused to let Lily Phillips into the country until she proved she wasn’t going to charge people for sleeping with her?

She explained,”I actually got stopped at the border. They were very close to not letting me in.

“I think they wanted to clarify that my ‘in-person meets’ weren’t for money. I was like ‘No, they’re just for free, please let me into your country!'”

All’s well that ends well, though, because she successfully made it to the fan convention. Lily Phillips appears to have gone on to enjoy her time at the event.
