Sandy admits becoming ‘fearful’ of Nick as he ’emotionally tormented’ her on The Ultimatum

She revealed his ‘personality instantly flipped’ once filming started

Sandy has opened up about some of the behaviour from Nick during The Ultimatum that we didn’t see, revealing she felt like he emotionally “tormented” her out of “fear” whilst on the show.

During an interview with Distractify, Sandy revealed what Nick was really like during the show, explaining that the reaction we saw from Nick when he barged into her and J.R.’s apartment was actually “very mild” compared to what we didn’t see.

Sandy recalled Nick once called her “100 times in one night” which made it “almost impossible” for her to “disconnect and disengage” from his behaviour whilst filming The Ultimatum.

She explained: “We don’t get to see really the ways that he was tormenting me. The things that actually happened were off-camera.

“We don’t have cameras strapped to us 24/7, so unfortunately, the ways that he was really, really, actually disrespecting me and crossing all of my boundaries in an extremely unhealthy way, they are not shown.”

She said his behaviour towards her was solely based on “emotional toxicity” and added: “It’s not love; it’s fear. So there’s a big difference between love and smothering fear.”

In another interview with Elite Daily, Sandy also revealed how different Nick started acting as soon as the cameras started rolling on The Ultimatum, claiming she thought he was being “disingenuous.”

She explained: “Nick and I’s relationship was quite literally the opposite of what we see on the show prior to coming there, which is crazy.

“He was very disconnected from me. My friends were actually surprised that he was the one giving me the ultimatum, because I was always the one crying for his attention and wanting more from him as a partner. He never showed up for me.”

She went on to explain how his personality “instantly flipped” on the show, and at the time thought it was an “act for the cameras.”

She continued: “Once we started this experience, he instantly flipped. I actually thought it was disingenuous at first. I did think that was an act for the cameras. Looking back now, I know it was genuine and he was really struggling.

“But it was such a drastic shift from one extreme to another. What I was experiencing before going to the show was the extreme side of the neglect. And then this was the whole other extreme.”

Despite everything that’s gone on between the pair it seems she and Nick might still be together, as she dropped some major hints about their relationship status.
