Erm, does Nick Lachey use booster cushions to make himself look taller on The Ultimatum?

He’s never beating the short king allegations

Right, yes there are a lot of major unanswered questions from the final few episodes of The Ultimatum, but one of the biggest is whether host Nick Lachey has been using booster cushions to make himself look taller. Seriously we absolutely have to get to the bottom of this.

The hilarious observation was spotted by someone on Reddit who posted that Nick Lachey was “seemingly sitting on pillows to appear taller” during episode seven of The Ultimatum.

During the episode, a huge dinner party with all the couples takes place, with Nick Lachey and his wife Vanessa sitting at the head of the table to make sure things don’t get *too* out of hand.

As the last few couples filter out of the room the camera pans over the table and we can spot that all the chairs seem standard, except for Nick’s. On his chair are a few different cushions and people are convinced he might have been using them to give himself a few extra inches of height.

Obviously it’s also very valid he could be using the cushion for comfort or health reasons, I know I’m always a sucker for comfy cushions and I bet the dinner parties drag on for hours.

But this isn’t the first time The Ultimatum host Nick Lachey has battled against claims he’s secretly a short king as a couple of years ago someone claimed he had to stand on a box during Love Is Blind. You really cannot make this stuff up.

But I’m afraid to break it to you but he’s actually a very average height, and according to the internet, Nick is actually 5ft9, whilst his wife Vanessa is just over 5ft6. So chances are it’s more for comfort or health reasons, but we can dream it’s for more comedic reasons.
