They’re all fan favourites, but who gained the most followers on I’m A Celeb this year?

It’s too sad to see it go, but I’m A Celeb 2024 has finally come to an end and followers of the show are once again empty every night at 9pm. But, who was the absolute fan favourite this year? That can easily be determined by who gained the most followers during their time on the show. Thanks to Digital PR tips, here’s a look at who gained the most followers on I’m A Celebrity 2024.

12. Jane Moore

Jane Moore may be at the bottom of the list, but she’s still gained 14,132 Instagram followers, pushing her total following to 184,081 currently. And, it’s not as low as some of the other total numbers elsewhere in camp.

11. Richard Coles

Richard Coles hasn’t even used Instagram for years, yet he still gained over 28,000 followers on the platform. Richard now has 47,450 followers overall, which is the lowest of the I’m A Celeb 2024 cast. It’s kind of crazy considering he was the most loved campmate in my opinion.

10. Alan Halsall

Alan Halsall came in 10th place, gaining 57,295 followers, bringing his total just over the 300k mark. He was already a beloved Corrie star, but now he’s a beloved reality TV hit. Ticking all the right boxes Alan!

9. Barry McGuigan

Barry, who I’ve never pegged as a social media guy, started the show with just 1,767 followers and ended with 68,361. That’s crazy! I guess he better make a TikTok now too.

8. Melvin Odoom

Melvin began his I’m A Celeb journey with just 88,704 followers but in just three weeks has made it to 212,599. That’s what happens when you’re hilarious and unproblematic!

Dean was the star of the first week in camp, and despite his early departure, he still gained 89,606 followers, bringing his total from 38,648 to 128,254. Way to smash the 100k mark Dean! Hope smuggling in those tea bags was worth it.

6. Oti Mabuse

Another fan favourite, Oti has nearly multiplied her followers by nearly 100 THOUSAND. She’s gone from 719,046 to 808,789 in a mere three weeks. And she’s been feeding us with so much content since she came out of the jungle!

5. Tulisa Contostavlos

Despite her early and quite controversial exit, Tulisa made the top five most gained Instagram followers in I’m A Celeb 2024 with an increase of 166,000 thousand. It brought her total up to 816,766. Woohoo!

4. Maura Higgins

Getting into the social media big leagues now, Maura’s I’m A Celeb appearance pushed her over the four MILLION mark. She gained a massive 174,153 thanks to the jungle and now sits at a humble 4,007,523. That’s what reality TV will do to yah!

3. Danny Jones

Surprisingly, Danny Jones gained more followers than Maura Higgins and went from 710,000 to 889,382. And that’s on being the jungle king!

2. Coleen Rooney

Coleen Rooney was already sitting pretty comfortably at just over one million followers, but getting to the final took her to 1.3 million. Is it time to enter your influencer era, Coleen?

1. GK Barry

No surprises here – social media legend GK Barry, and the youngest contestant on I’m A Celeb this year, has slayed with a 324,000 follower increase, taking her from 881,878 to 1,205,926. The memes her team are posting to her account may have helped, and she’s also been keeping us insanely well-fed while being in Australia. Well earned GK!
