Major I’m A Celeb error gave a huge spoiler from last night’s final in the opening minutes

How did ITV not clock this!?

ITV made a big error in the final of I’m A Celeb 2024 last night, where the show revealed a big spoiler that kind of ruined the entire final bushtucker trial. In fact, it’s so daft that I have no clue how the show missed this. Whilst obviously the spoiler didn’t give away the winner of I’m A Celeb 2024 or anything, if you clocked it then it did actually take out all the tension of the final trial. Which was actually one of the tensest of the entire season!

In case you missed it, in the final bushtucker trial last night the three finalists had to compete to try and win their final meal in camp. This meal could be literally anything they wanted, and the trial involved them getting stars to earn their starters and mains and then their desserts and their drinks. They smashed it, but it was tense – and the final knotted chamber filled with spiders proved difficult for Reverend Richard who had got the knots in a real tangle. It came to the final 10 seconds where he was dropping the star down to Danny to see if they would actually win the drinks for their final night in camp. Except, if you were eagle eyed enough, the show had already spoiled it.

Basically, if you’d watched closely in the preview for the episode ahead right at the start – I’m A Celeb 2024 aired a spoiler in the final by showing the three enjoying their final night drinks. This basically revealed that the trio would pass the final trial – taking all that aforementioned tension of whether Richard would sort the knot right out of the picture.

This was quickly clocked on Twitter, with one person writing “Well I assume they get these final stars since we saw all of them with their drinks in the preview clips at the beginning.”

Another agreed: “We all saw them with their drinks in the preview, so they probably should of done this first because it just gave it away they do it.” A third added: “Well we saw them toast their drinks in the preview so I assume this trial goes well,” as a fourth wrote: “I wonder if they get their drinks, not like it showed it in the opening titles.”

A bit of a mess – but who cares. What a great season it was!
