Sheffield Tramlines Festival announces star-studded lineup for 2025
It’s a homecoming for one iconic Sheffield band
Sheffield’s Tramlines Festival has announced a star-studded lineup for 2025 – with the city’s very own Pulp set to headline the Main Stage on the first day.
Also headlining across the three-day festival next summer will be British rock band Kasabian and local indie group The Reytons.
Others to be announced so far include The Last Dinner Party, The Lathums, Franz Ferdinand, CMAT, Sigrid, Rizzle Kicks, and ‘Unwritten’ singer Natasha Bedingfield.
Timm Cleasby, Operations Director at Tramlines said: “We’ve put together a line-up that’s got something for everyone, and we’re buzzing to welcome everyone back to Hillsborough Park.”
On the local stars set to feature, he added: “It’s absolutely massive to have Pulp headlining Friday, and even more special to have them curating the whole day—it’s a real celebration of what Sheffield’s all about. The Reytons topping the bill on Saturday is another big moment for the local scene. They’ve come so far, and it’s great to see them getting the recognition they deserve.”
Pulp’s Tramlines debut will be only the fourth time they have performed in the city since 2000.
Alongside headlining, the group has also curated all of Friday’s Main Stage acts, with Spirtualized, Baxter Dury, and Oracle Sisters among their picks.
Rumours of this year’s lineup had been circulating on social media, after teasers had been seen on billboards and special edition bottles of Henderson’s Relish.

Making a tongue-in-cheek reference to Pulp’s 1995 hit ‘Common People’, Henderson’s General Manager Matt Davies joked: “It turns out that the Art student from Athens helping out in the Hendo’s office printed the band’s names on to miniature bottles and sent them all around the city. Hopefully you’ll have forgiven Henderson’s by the year Two thousand and Twenty Five?”
Tramlines 2025 will take place between Friday 25th and Sunday 27th July.
Founded in 2009, Tramlines has taken place annually in Hillsborough Park since 2018 and had approximately 40,000 daily attendees in 2024.
Tickets will be available to purchase on pre-sale from 6pm on Thursday 28th November, and on general sale from 12pm on Friday 29th November.
