There’s a new reality show set in Liverpool on TV this week – and I’m so ready for it

If you’ve been on the same side of TikTok as me lately, you’re bound to have seen some clips from It’s A Scouse Life, a brand new flick hitting our screens this week. Imagine a Liverpool based reality TV show which features micro-celebrities, new levels of drama, and over the top competitive rivalries – well, look no further than E4’s latest offering, It’s A Scouse Life.

Premiering this Tuesday, this brand new reality show has been compared to the likes of The Only Way is Essex and Made in Chelsea, but the best part? It’s set right on Merseyside, and will be jam-packed with the same amount of fighting, gossiping and bickering as you’d expect from our favourite reality dramas.

It’s A Scouse Life follows the entrepreneurial lifestyles of Georgia, Jonny, Jess, Rain, Liam, Leon, Melina, Ant, and Jenny. Amongst the line up are dancers, models, brand owners, footballers and even a saxophonist. You heard that right – we’re all wondering how far a bit of musical flair will take you in this crazy game of relationships, family, business and house hunting.

Channel 4’s overview of the show has got us all expecting to see a “reality show following the glamorous lives of a group of young metropolitan Merseysiders as they work hard and play hard in one of Europe’s liveliest cities: Liverpool”.

Rivalries between the city’s longest reigning Miss Liverpool, Georgia Austin, and business-minded entrepreneur Melina Halpin, are about to heat up as we watch the stars of the show navigate life in Liverpool, all set against the backdrop of our favourite sights and landmarks.

You never know, you might even see one of them take a tumble down the BaaBar stairs.
