The MAFS Australia season 12 start date is here! This is when it should air in the UK

MAFS UK ended more than a month ago now, but you haven’t got long to wait until MAFS Australia.

The official release date finally just got announced alongside two juicy teasers introducing the new cast.

So, when it is coming to the UK?! Here’s everything we know so far.

The Married at First Sight Australia series 12 start date

On TikTok, the official MAFS Australia account announced that season 12 will start on Monday, January 27.

That’s the date is begins in Australia, with episodes airing on Channel 9 and 9 Now.

The two teasers revealed some of the new couples, including a bride called Jamie and groom called Tony.

There’s also a Sierah, Eliot, Jacqui, Paul, Awhina, Jeff, Lauren, Billy, Katie, Ryan, Carina, Jake and Rhi.

This is when is should be coming to the UK

MAFS Australia always comes to the UK around a month after the Australian start date.

Last year, it started on January 29 in Australia and then February 25 in the UK.

We can expect it to be similar with series 12, so it should be released towards the end of February.

MAFS Australia season 12 will be more shocking than ever

They started filming season 12 in July and it was due to wrap up in November.

In August, experts John Aiken and Alessandra Rampolla teased to Yahoo that the series will be full of “shock and awe”.

“You’re gonna see some things very early that you’ve never seen before,” John said. “I’ve done 12 seasons – this is the twelfth season now – and a couple of things happen that I’ve never witnessed.”

“That part never ceases to amaze me, how every single year we can have different storylines that have not happened before,” Alessandra added. “And there’s quite a few of those this year!”

She revealed that the new cast isn’t comparable to last year’s, so we’re in for a brand new range of personalities that are bound to bring even more drama. We can’t wait!

“I would say that it’s a really great cast of very committed people to the experience of the experiment, and I think that makes for a great show,” she concluded.

Here’s how to watch MAFS Australia in the UK

MAFS UK is always on Channel 4, but you have to tune into E4 to watch the Australian version.

The season 11 episodes aired on E4 at 7:30pm every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

As always, the series will also be available to watch online via Channel 4, previously known as 4oD.
