So, now that MAFS UK is over, when does MAFS Australia start?

Already counting down the days

The final reunion ceremony aired last night, which means MAFS UK is officially over, apart from one more reunion coming at Christmas.

As always, it’s been an explosive season full of drama, and having no new episode to tune into at 9pm will leave a huge hole in everyone’s life.

Don’t worry though, MAFS Australia is on its way next, and it’s coming a lot sooner than you think.

This is when Married at First Sight Australia usually starts

There isn’t an official start date for MAFS Australia 2025 just yet. However, the last season started on 26 February 2024 and ended on 25 April.

We can expect it to be similar next year, so you’ve got about three months to wait.

The series always starts a little earlier in Australia, at the end of January, so you need to make sure you avoid any spoilers on social media.

MAFS Australia season 12 will be more shocking than ever

They started filming season 12 in July and it was due to wrap up in November, so filming is probably finishing around now.

In August, experts John Aiken and Alessandra Rampolla teased to Yahoo that the series will be full of “shock and awe”.

“You’re gonna see some things very early that you’ve never seen before,” John said. “I’ve done 12 seasons – this is the twelfth season now – and a couple of things happen that I’ve never witnessed.”

“That part never ceases to amaze me, how every single year we can have different storylines that have not happened before,” Alessandra added. “And there’s quite a few of those this year!”

She revealed that the new cast isn’t comparable to last year’s, so we’re in for a brand new range of personalities that are bound to bring even more drama. Can’t wait!

“I would say that it’s a really great cast of very committed people to the experience of the experiment, and I think that makes for a great show,” she concluded.

Here’s how to watch MAFS Australia in the UK

MAFS UK is always on Channel 4, but you have to tune into E4 to watch the Australian version.

The season 11 episodes aired on E4 at 7:30pm every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

As always, the series will also be available to watch online via Channel 4, previously known as 4oD.
