Omg, MAFS Australia’s biggest ever villain just got engaged and I’m not sure how to feel

Not sure if I’ve forgiven him fully

Erm so the biggest ever villain in MAFS Australia, aka Harrison Boon has got engaged to his girlfriend of just over one year, Gina Ha.

Harrison popped the question during a romantic helicopter ride above Uluru and mentioned in his caption on Instagram: “For a brief moment Gina was actually wearing the highest rock in Uluru”

Harrison quickly rose to controversy during his time on the show a few years ago when he was matched with his bride Bronte. Their relationship already got off to a rocky start during their wedding day when Bronte’s best friend told her that Harrison had been dating another friend leading up to the wedding and told her: “He wants to be with her when he finishes the experiment.”

When Bronte demanded answers from Harrison, he admitted: “There’s someone that I had a crush on for a long time, I kinda told her I wished it was her I was doing this with.” What a way to start your wedding day.

During their honeymoon, Bronte admitted that there were “no emotions” when the two had sex, with Harrison later revealing that he felt “no sexual chemistry” with Bronte. Throughout the course of the show, Harrison’s reputation went from bad to worse with him quickly gaining a name for himself for being the standout villain of the series.

At the final dinner party, the two dramatically broke their relationship off, with Bronte storming out and telling him: “Harrison, we’re done, we’re over and I honestly never want to see you again.”

But it seems like Harrison Boon has come out the other side and explained that before getting engaged to his girlfriend she was shocked at how he’d been portrayed on MAFS Australia.

In an interview with Daily Mail Australia, he explained: “She has never seen that side of me, and she probably never will. Like, I don’t go around trying to call people out and be in arguments in my day-to-day life. It’s not who I am. I just want to get along with people and make the most out of life.

“If you’re the villain, you’ve got to put up with a lot of [expletive]. Your family gets attacked. You get these horrible stories written about you, podcasters with no conscience will come out and slander you. It’s not a good place to be. It’s not a platform you’re going to get famous from. Like, it does open doors, but it closes a lot as well.”
