People are raging about ‘bad editing’ during two vital Love Is Blind season seven moments
It’s been messy
Love Is Blind season seven has been filled with big dramas and revelations, but viewers are pretty livid with the job Netflix has done at editing the moments, and how confusing it has made them to follow.
Two of the biggest moments in the season so far have included couples Tim and Alex and Monica and Stephen. Tim and Alex had a huge off-screen argument, and had to deal with it after the cast members met up in episode six. The big drama with Monica and Stephen was Monica finding “kinky” texts to other women on his phone, and calling off their engagement.
But now, people are saying the two parts of the show have been hard to follow, because of how badly edited they were. “Netflix has to do better with editing,” someone said. “The Tim and Alex fiasco was piecemealed together oddly and so was the Monica and Stephen thing. As a viewer, you’re confused as to what happened.”

The thing that made both moments so confusing was how they were chopped up and presented across multiple stages, instead of us just being able to view it all at once. Plus, with the Tim and Alex argument happening off-camera, it was a million times more difficult to understand.
Other viewers pointed out there were some pretty simple steps Netflix could have taken, to make it easier for us to navigate. One said: “They should have had them do a confessional explaining what happened instead of just gliding into the aftermath.”

Surprise! We managed to shoe-horn a Vanessa and Nick Lachey dig in there too, as another person suggested: “Or like… make the hosts explain it since that’s their job isn’t it?” A viewer also said that we’re probably “never going to understand” what happened unless there’s a reunion to address it, and whilst Netflix has confirmed a reunion is on the way, that puts our trust in the Lacheys to bring us the gossip. I won’t bank on it.
“The issue with this season is that they aren’t showing us any arguments or fights at all. We’re only seeing content from after the fight when they’re discussing it. It’s so annoying. Same thing with Tyler and Ashley,” one person argued.
