From BRIT School to Russell Groups: This is where the MAFS UK 2024 cast went to university
Caspar came for a 2:2 and a good time
As well as throwing themselves head-first into an experiment with their dating lives, a whole bunch of the MAFS UK 2024 cast members went to university before the show, to improve their career prospects, too.
If falling in love on the TV doesn’t work out for them as a career, at least they have degrees to fall back on – as some of our fav cast members studied a whole range of different subjects. We have everything from theatre girlies to history buffs. The conversation around those dinner party tables must be eclectic when they’re not fighting!
Here is a rundown of all the MAFS UK 2024 cast who went to university, and where and what they each studied.
Richelle
Most Read
Richelle has had a hugely successful career for herself. She graduated with a Politics and Journalism degree from Middlesex University, and now has started her own company and works as the Group Head of Investment Operations.
Speaking on the show, Richelle said: “I walked away from my 9 to 5 about 10 years ago and I decided to start my own business that specialises in primarily property investment and it was probably the best thing I ever did.”
Caspar
Of course, posh boy Caspar went to a major UK uni. Want to take a wild guess at what he studied, after finishing at his fancy private school? Ancient History. At Newcastle University. Caspar studied there between 2008 and 2011 and he graduated with a 2:2, so was clearly just there for a good time.
Emma
Emma and Caspar make a pretty smart couple, as Emma also went to university before joining the MAFS UK 2024 cast. She did her undergrad and Master’s at the University of the West of England in Bristol. She studied Business Administration and then specialised in Management and Operations, graduating in 2008 with top grades. Get it, girl!
Polly
Right now, Polly works as a careers advisor. However, this isn’t where her career first started out, as she was once very much a theatre girlie. She trained at the Reynolds Performing Arts drama school in Kent and then in 2020, she completed a BA in Performing Arts at the Institute for Contemporary Theatre in Brighton.
Charlie
Um, when was Charlie going to tell us she went to The BRIT School? Yep – from 2008 to 2011 Charlie studied at the performing arts school, where the likes of Adele, Loyle Carner, FKA Twigs and Tom Holland have previously graced the corridors. Charlie had already been on reality TV before MAFS, so maybe we should have known she had an artsy and performing past.
Amy
Before being an intruder bride, Amy went to the University of Central Lancashire. It’s not entirely clear what she studied at UCLan, but she started at the uni in 2019 and only graduated this year! Amy now works as a wedding planner.
Hannah
Another intruder bride who went to university before joining the cast of MAFS UK 2024 is Hannah, who now owns her own gym. Before this she went to the University of Birmingham, where she studied Business Management. She was there between 2009 and 2012, and graduated with a 2:1.
