An expert reveals exactly how far each MAFS UK 2024 couple will get in the experiment

Some are quitting soon, whilst others will give us heartbreak at the final vows

| UPDATED

As MAFS UK 2024 goes on, we’re starting to get an idea as to which couples we think are going to work out, and who most definitely will not. Let’s just say, at the moment it’s looking as though more are going to fall in the latter category, over the former.

But what does an expert have to say? Mecca Bingo has teamed up with Louella Alderson, relationship expert and co-founder of So Syncd, who has shared her predictions on the latest MAFS couples. Will they make it or not?

Here’s what she had to say, and which couples she thinks will be bowing out very soon, to who will make it all the way to final vows and become a MAFS power couple.

Polly and Adam – Quit soon

Louella doesn’t think it’s looking good for Polly and Adam, and that they will quit the show soon. Honestly, I think we’d all agree that since Adam rated Polly a four in front of everyone, it’s been pretty clear the foundations aren’t looking strong.

“Polly and Adam aren’t compatible emotionally or physically,” Louella said. “There has been so much focus on Adam not being sexually attracted to Polly that many of the other issues were overlooked. However, as their relationship progresses, it feels like they aren’t connecting on a deeper level.

“Physical attraction can follow emotional connection, but it seems like Polly and Adam are struggling to form that emotional bond first. It’s likely that their lack of compatibility will eventually lead to their downfall as a couple.”

Louella said another issue the couple face is Polly not focusing on her own marriage, and instead getting herself involved in other couples’ dramas. “It’s understandable that she’s hurt by Adam not being physically attracted to her, but it feels as though she is projecting her own issues onto other couples,” she said.

Kristina and Kieran – Yes at final vows

Hooray! We have something to look forward to! Louella said Kristina and Kieran are “one of the strongest couples” and “seem to be genuinely happy and in love.”

She said: “They communicate well and open up to each other, and their chemistry is apparent. They both had an instant physical and emotional connection, and it’s likely they will make it to the final vows.”

If there was going to be an issue here, Louella said they may have “different levels of emotionality.” She said: “Kieran is quite reserved and struggles to show his emotions, whereas Kristina is much more emotional and vulnerable. This difference could lead to minor conflicts, but overall, if they can communicate as they have been, this balance of personalities can continue to be a strength in their relationship.”

Emma and Caspar – No at final vows

via E4

Louella has said what we’re all thinking: “Caspar and Emma got off to a bad start and it just doesn’t feel like this couple can recover.” Therefore, they’ll probably stick around for the show, but ultimately it’s not going to work out.

“Caspar wasn’t sexually attracted to Emma and he told her this in an insensitive way,” Louella said. “Emma understandably felt hurt and rejected, and it will take a lot for her to trust and open up to him again. Your partner should be someone who lifts you up and makes you feel good about yourself, and it doesn’t seem like Caspar is capable of that for Emma.

“Not only this, but Caspar is negative and doesn’t seem to have the emotional depth that Emma is looking for. He hasn’t shown much interest in getting to know her on a deeper level and it’s unlikely that they will be able to form a strong emotional connection. It’s likely this couple will decide to leave the experiment before the final vows, or if they do make it, they’ll say no.”

Sacha and Ross – Yes at final vows

It’s also looking good for fan favs, Sacha and Ross. “Everything we’ve seen so far points to Ross and Sacha being a strong couple who will make it to the final vows,” Louella said. “They have a great balance of passion, chemistry, and emotional connection. While Ross appears to be a joker, Sacha keeps referencing how safe he makes her feel. This is an important quality in a partner, and it’s clear that they have trust and respect for each other.

“It looks like their main challenge could be Sacha’s parents, who she is very close to. They seem quite overprotective and could cast doubt on her relationship with Ross. It will be important for Ross and Sacha to communicate openly about this issue and make sure they are on the same page in dealing with it. Other than that, they have a strong foundation for a lasting relationship and it’s likely they will say yes at the final vows.”

Lacey and Nathan – Yes at final vows

via E4

Kristina and Kieran and Sacha and Ross won’t be alone, because Louella has predicted Lacey and Nathan will also say yes at the end of the experiment. She called them an “interesting couple” and noted they “didn’t get off to the strongest start at the wedding but they’ve really grown in their relationship since then. They’ve opened up to each other and have had some difficult conversations which has helped them bond emotionally.”

Louella added: “What works for them is that they’re building a foundation of friendship within their relationship, which is something the other couples seem to lack. Lacey defending Nathan to her mum was a big statement of how much she cares for him and understands him. This is a good sign that they will make it to the final vows.”

Holly and Alex – Quit soon

Yikes! After back-to-back fights, Louella has predicted Holly and Alex will be another couple to quit the show early on. She said: “Alex and Holly need to end their toxic relationship soon. They seem to be constantly fighting and bringing out the worst in each other. They have clear communication issues and don’t even try to listen to each other’s perspectives. They just talk over each other and try to prove their point without actually considering how the other person feels.

“Their lack of empathy and respect for each other is a major red flag in their relationship and it doesn’t seem like they will be able to overcome their issues. It’s likely that they will leave the experiment before the final vows.”

Richelle and Orson – Quit soon

via E4

Cracks are beginning to form with Richelle and Orson, and Louella said that because Richelle clearly doesn’t trust Orson, they’ll never work. “Trust is the foundation of any relationship and without it, there will always be doubts and insecurities,” she said. “Orson was saying he was catching feelings for Richelle without really knowing her or having asked many personal questions, so it’s easy to see why she is sceptical. Plus, his desire to be an actor is slightly suspicious.

“Richelle is clearly a hard nut to crack and she needs someone who will be patient with her and take the time to get to know her on a genuine level. It doesn’t seem like their relationship has progressed emotionally since the honeymoon, so it’s unlikely they’ll make it to the final vows.”

Amy and Luke – Strong potential

via E4

We haven’t seen much of Amy and Luke so far, but they have “a good connection and are definitely physically attracted to each other” according to Louella. She observed they “both appear to want the same things in life, but it’s unclear if they have a strong enough emotional connection.”

“It’s possible that their relationship may face challenges as they are still getting to know each other, but they both seem willing to put in the effort and communicate well. It’s too early to say for sure, but there is potential for this couple to make it to the final vows,” Louella concluded.

Hannah and Stephen – Strong potential

Again, it’s tough to judge Hannah and Stephen this early on, but Louella has said they too have strong potential to go far in the experiment. She said: “Stephen and Hannah clearly had a great instant connection and sexual chemistry, but it’s uncertain if their relationship can withstand the challenges of the experiment.”

Louella noted that their values align, but Hannah and Stephen have the “hurdle” of how him having four children will affect their connection. “Hannah couldn’t have dealt with this revelation any better and it’s a positive that Stephen is open to having more children in the future,” she said.

“This couple has had one of the strongest starts MAFS has seen. They began with strong communication, emotional depth, a shared sense of humour and an immediate physical attraction. This is a solid foundation for any relationship, and if they can continue to navigate the challenges of the experiment, it’s possible that they will make it to the final vows.”

It’s going to be a bumpy ride!
