Taylor Swift dragged for releasing new album version amid planned Austria terror attack
The singer is yet to speak out about the planned terror attack but released four new digital album versions
Taylor Swift is currently being dragged online for releasing four new album versions straight after her three concerts in Vienna were cancelled due to a planned terror incident.
Fans were shocked by the release of a new album variant, which Swift has been notorious for releasing since The Tortured Poets Department came out in April. Swifties received an email around 12 hours ago with four new digital albums that were now available to be purchased. The four digital albums had copies of acoustic set mashups which were I hate it here x The lakes, thanK you aIMee x Mean, The bolter x Getaway car and The Albatross x Dancing with our hands tied.
It’s likely that this was a prescheduled email release, and nothing has been posted on social media to promote it, so it makes sense for it to be non-intentional. However, some fans have taken to X to share their disappointment.
She hasn’t even released a statement about her three cancelled tour dates due to an imminent terror threat that could have harmed hundreds of thousands of fans, yet she’s pushing FOUR more copies of her album onto people?? Read the room https://t.co/YsCixWSpdb

Fans were left heartbroken at her concert being cancelled due to the last minute due to intelligence of a planned terror attack set to hit the concert. Fans have been understandably disappointed but of course relieved for the safety of everyone attending, so it’s kind of wild that she still dropped these album variants amidst the chaos.
Taylor is yet to make a statement about the situation (and it could be dangerous for her to do so right now), but Taylor’s team, @taylornation, shared a post by the stadium event organisers with the sad update:
