Omg, the first five episodes of Arcane season two have been leaked three months early
Netflix have vowed to take ‘aggressive’ action against them
Everyone, please remain calm but someone has decided to leak the first five episodes of Arcane season two. Yes, you heard that right, the full five first episodes. It’s one of the biggest leaks Netflix has ever faced and other shows such as Heartstopper and allegedly Stranger Things have also been impacted by the leaks.
Season two of Arcane contains nine episodes in total and the season isn’t set to be released on Netflix until mid November, as a result of the leak footage has been released three months early.
In a statement to The Wrap, Netflix explained that the breach was due to one of its post production partners being targeted. They explained: “One of our post-production partners has been compromised and footage from several of our titles has unfortunately leaked online. Our team is aggressively taking action to have it taken down.”
So far, Netflix is cracking down on swiftly removing the leaks, but episodes are still cropping up on Twitter and TikTok, so make sure to avoid them if you don’t want any spoilers! So far most of the footage is incredibly grainy and in small chunks so out of context it doesn’t make a huge amount of sense, but there have still been some big reveals exposed as a result of the leaks.
