We’re back! For the first time ever, Love Is Blind has filmed a season in the UK and the pod daters are from our neck of the woods. Obviously, given the show’s big move, there are going to be a few major differences in how it looks – one of which being all the different filming locations.

From start to finish, the cast of hopeful daters travel all over the place in their quest to find the one – starting off in the pods and potentially ending at a gorgeous wedding venue to confirm their love.

Here’s a complete rundown of all the different places the first season of Love Is Blind UK was filmed.

The pod section of Love Is Blind UK was filmed in Sweden

The most famous part of any season of Love Is Blind is the pods, and normally for the US season, the pods are placed into storage and have been shipped across the country for filming in different locations.

However, when the UK version of Love Is Blind was filmed, it was done very differently. The UK cast members were flown to a studio in Stockholm, Sweden to film the pod section of the series.

After the cast members have announced their love for one another, and made the grand gesture of getting engaged without meeting, all of those who are now on their way to being married head off for a getaway. In previous seasons the cast have been flown all over the world to luxury resorts to celebrate the next stages in their lives.

With the cast being from the UK this time, where better to send them than a gorgeous part of Europe? For their engagement-moons, the Love Is Blind UK cast were filmed living it up in Corfu, Greece. According to The Metro, they stayed at the Angsana Corfu Resort and Spa, a luxury five-star hotel on the island.

Then, the bit we all wait for is the wedding days. Will they say “I do” or will it end in a big fat “I do not” and storming out the venue and slipping down a mud slide, Gigi from season one style?

In the UK there is even more possibility of rain-induced mud slides, but the location for it looks stunning. The weddings were filmed at Wynyard Hall in Durham, which on its website is described as “a stunningly beautiful 18th century, grade II listed country house designed for weddings and celebrations, home grown dining, award winning spa, charming cottages and one of the largest rose gardens in Britain, all set in the North East, nestled within a private 400 acre estate.”
