In the most random crossover ever, Sabrina Carpenter, everyone’s new pop princess obsession, is actually related to Bart Simpson??! My brain does not know how to compute this information.

Sabrina is the niece of Nancy Cartwright, the woman who has been Bart’s voice in The Simpsons for over 35 years. The voice of Bart Simpson herself confirmed this on TikTok, where she has over two million followers from her voice acting content.

When asked if Sabrina Carpenter was her niece she said: “Yeah, absolutely,” and showed a picture of her and Sabrina together. “Isn’t that amazing to find out that somebody that maybe you have known for a little while — doing this little 10-year old-boy for 35 some years — is related to this, like, superstar? She’s pretty amazing,” she added.

Back in 2021, Sabrina also gushed about her “legend” auntie during an interview on Capital Breakfast. “A very niche fun fact. It runs in the family, I guess,” Sabrina said.  “My whole life that was just, like, the coolest thing in the world to me,” she said, but admitted she wasn’t actually allowed to watch The Simpsons until she got older.

She continued, “It was always really cool growing up when she would pull out the Bart voice if we were at, like, a restaurant. She didn’t do it all the time, but there was a couple times when we couldn’t get a table, and she’d be like, ‘Hey, man, I’m Bart Simpson. What the hell’s going on?’”

Bart Simpson herself responded to the video on X, “This video made my day! 🥰 Love you @SabrinaAnnLynn! Proud to be your aunt!” Very wholesome.
