House of the Dragon fans figure out what will happen in episode five and you’re not ready

If you’re still not over episode four of House of the Dragon, same. I genuinely don’t think I have it in me to wait for the next episode. Help. But luckily for us, some House of the Dragon fans on Reddit think they have managed to work out what happens in the next episode and you’re actually not ready to hear this.

The thread of “leaks” was posted on the House of the Dragon subreddit with the title “episode five leaks!!!’ and includes a whole load of things that are apparently going to happen in episode five of season two. The screenshots look like they might come from messages from someone who works closely with the show or has managed to get early access to the episode.

Now this goes without saying, but major spoiler alert for the next episode of House of the Dragon! Read on at your own risk!!

Here are the main takeaways:

• Aegon is critically wounded, with a lot of broken bones and burns. We see a scene of his skin peeling off when they try to remove his armour. Ouch.

• There’s no Aegon dialogue in the episode at all.

• Aemond is not really regretful of what happened and is actually quite happy. When they’re parading Meley’s head through the streets Alicent notices the dagger on his belt.

• Aemond is the first to say they need a regent as Aegon is recovering, Alicent suggests herself but Larys and Cole agree Aemond should be regent. He immediately heads over to the King’s chair at the table and starts planning

• Alicent is upset and asks a few times throughout the episode if her son will live.

• Alicent thinks Cole betrayed her but he tells her we have to do terrible things now and I spared you from having to be at the head of them.

• Sunfyre’s fate is currently unknown.

• Daemon tells people to start calling him king instead of your grace.

• Aemond and Helaena speak for the first time in the throne room.

So much drama! I am ridiculously excited and can’t tell if I want all this to be true or not.
