Famous pals and fancy trips: Inside Harriett’s life when not stirring up drama on Love Island

Right now the biggest talking point in the Love Island 2024 villa is Harriett Blackmore. No matter what you think about her, she’s the best drama on the show this year, and is providing entertainment for us every single night. A god send, if you ask me.

But what is she like outside of the show? Well, it seems like she lives it up at home, too. From having many famous connections to loving a night out and big holiday – Harriett is thriving.

Love Island 2024 Islander Harriett is 24 and from Brighton. Ahead of the villa she was working as a dancer and personal shopper.

When asked why she wanted to be on Love Island 2024, Harriett said: “I’ve recently come out of a three year relationship, so it’s time for me to open a new chapter in my life, hopefully I’ll find love in the villa!”

Harriett told her fellow Islanders she was in a relationship four months ago, and has since been called out by people who think this must have clashed with when she was applying for the show. It’s also been reported Harriett spent the night with her ex just days before flying out to the villa, and didn’t tell him she was appearing on the reality show. However, she’s said she is “very much single” going into the villa.

Harriett has loads of random claims to fame and links to minor celebs. Ahead of the show, when asked her claim to fame, Harriett said: “Being a bit of an IT girl in Brighton, I’ve done personal shopping for the rapper ArrDee and one of my best friends is Saffron Barker the YouTuber.”

Harriett has featured in a few of Saffron’s YouTube clips, including one where she does a question session with a bunch of friends, and another one where Saffron challenged herself to living in her car for 24-hours and went to visit Harriett along the way. Harriett looked completely different at the time, btw.

Outside of Love Island, Harriett has a mega glam life with loads of holidays

A quick look on her Instagram proves that the Love Island 2024 villa is pretty standard going for our gal Harriett. She seems to always be on holiday.

She’s recently checked into Dubai, Paris, Ibiza and Crete – and of course, posted a million bikini pictures whilst there. She’s also always enjoying nights out in London and Manchester, as well as her home town of Brighton.

Her brother is a footballer, but not in the Premier League as she previously said

Before the show started, a video circulated of Harriett with her brother, and it was claimed she was defending him during an “attack” with a group of women. Harriett was filmed telling another girl “he’s a Premier League football player, please leave him alone” but in short, he isn’t.

Harriett’s brother is called Henry Blackmore, and he plays for Peacehaven and Telscombe Football Club, and has previously played for Whitehawk FC. The club is currently part of the Southern Combination Premier Division – not the actual Premier League. A bit of a white lie!

Harriett definitely backs herself, and ahead of going into the villa said: “I’m really confident with the looks to match.” When asked what she will bring to the villa, she added: “For the boys, entertainment, a bit of fun and flirting. I’ll definitely up the flirting. For the girls, I’m a really good friend.”

She called herself “a really sparkly person” and said “everyone needs a bit of Harriet B sparkle.”
