Felonies and OnlyFans: This is what the original Teen Mom girlies are doing now

Basically a lot!

The original Teen Mom girls became parents via the magic of reality television, so of course, this means they’ve got a very special place in the hearts of those who had MTV in 2009! If you’ve not kept tabs on what they’ve been doing since then, you’ve come to the right place. Well, the obvious is raising the kids they welcomed on their episode, but it’s so much more than that. Here is everything the cast of the original Teen Mom has been doing since the show wrapped in 2012.

Farrah Abraham

Farrah’s pregnancy was marred with tragedy when her boyfriend died in a car crash just before their daughter Sophia’s birth. Along with this, Farrah also had a difficult relationship with her mum, who called her a “whore” and prevented her from getting an abortion. Derek’s family also pushed her into getting a paternity test. After seeking therapy for her traumas, she enrolled in college in 2011 and got an associate degree in culinary arts and management. This move led to her bringing out her own brand of pasta sauce.

In 2012, she released a book and song, both titled My Teenage Dream Ended, which were critical and commercial flops. However, the two sex tapes she released did actually earn her a huge chunk of change. One pocketed her $1 million and a new career of producing adult content. Trying again with the music career, she dropped the track Blowin in 2014. All these new ventures led her to appear on Celebrity Big Brother, where she came fifth.

The move towards a less family-friendly career led her to be sacked from Teen Mom in 2017. This included trying out being a camgirl, strip club appearances and selling sex toys. Despite probably raking it in, Farrah didn’t take her firing lying down and sued MTV for $5 million. Eventually, the two parties settled for an undisclosed amount. Now, she loves to post on OnlyFans and talk about it on her Instagram.

In 2021, she accused Dominic Foppoli, the mayor of the California town of Windsor, of sexual assault. After he resigned,   Farrah launched a civil suit against, who went to Italy after a string of women came out with similar stories about him. In January 2022, Farrah was taken into police custody and charged after allegedly assaulting someone at a nightclub.

Maci Bookout McKinney

Maci began her reality television journey as the expectant teen mother of her son Bentley. She broke up with her then-boyfriend and her son’s father, Ryan, because she felt he wasn’t taking parenthood seriously enough. Their breakup led Maci into the arms of motocross racer Taylor McKinney, whom she married in 2016. Along with Bentley, she is now mother to their daughter Jayde and son Maverick. Still a resident of Tennessee, Maci has also written a book all about being a teen mother and then added to her literary ambitions by bringing out a collection of poems called The Battle Upstairs.

Last year, Maci spoke about the journey to being on good terms with Bentley’s Ryan for Bentley’s sake despite the drama. This included supporting him when he checked into rehab. The drama reached a peak when Maci took out a two-year restraining order against her ex in 2018 after Ryan threatened both Maci and Taylor. To top this off, Maci currently appears in the Teen Mom spinoff, Teen Mom: Family Reunion.

Catelynn Baltierra

Catelynn didn’t follow the path of the other Teen Mom stars as she and her boyfriend Taylor opted to give their daughter Carly up for adoption. They were included in the spin-off to showcase the reality of following through on a tough decision. In a very cute turn of events, they married and welcomed two daughters, Vaeda and Novvalee. Catelynn and Tyler even jointly wrote a book titled Conquering Chaos. There were questions about whether they were still together by the explosive trailer for the third season of Teen Mom: Family Reunion, but they seemed to be lovey-dovey in each other’s Instagram comments.

There was a bit of potential weirdness when Catelynn’s mum got hitched to Tyler’s dad, which technically made them step-siblings, but their parents got divorced in 2013, so it’s just like that plotline in Clueless then.

Amber Portwood

Amber started on 16 and Pregnant expecting her daughter Leah with her boyfriend Gary, and a lot has happened in her life since then. Among the drama, there are the three counts of domestic abuse she was charged with after the show documented her assault on Gary. In 2011, Gary was given full custody of Leah after they separated. The following year, Amber was sentenced to five years in prison for drug probation violations but only served 17 months.

On the love and romance front, When Amber was 24, she got engaged to Matt Baier, who, at 42, was 18 years her junior. However, they broke up when Amber discovered he had kids she didn’t know about. In 2018, she had a son, James, with her then-fiancee, Andrew Glennon. They split up when she was charged with “domestic battery and criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon” after she was accused of attacking him and breaking down the door of the room he was in with a machete. Andrew filed a restraining order against Amber. She also pled guilty to domestic battery and intimidation and was given 906 days on probation.

She was then linked to Dimitri Garcia, a Belgian man who prompted a bit of panic via Instagram when he revealed via a story that he was counting down the days until he “found” her. It turned out that Google Translate was weird. A month ago, US Weekly reported that she was “getting serious” with her boyfriend, another man named Gary. According to the same article, things with the original Gary are going “amicably.”
