Omg, Love Island’s Sammy is coming to Bournemouth to host a freshers club night

Love Island winner Sammy Root will be at the the grand opening of Bournemouth’s newest nightlife hot spot, Popworld.
The eagerly awaited launch party is scheduled for September 16th, just over a week after the club’s opening night on September 8th, Daily Echo reports. Kimberly Wyatt, a member of the Pussycat Dolls, was initially organised attend to the grand opening but had to cancel her appearance.
Situated on Old Christchurch Road, Popworld emerges as a fresh venue from the former Walkabout, and is presently undergoing an extensive £1 million refurbishment as part of its rebranding initiative.
Catering to a huge range of tastes, the club’s playlist spans an array of hits. Expect to hear everything from S Club 7 to the Vengaboys, Rihanna to Dua Lipa, and even the most infectious TikTok anthems we all know and love.
The club will be open seven days a week, hosting thematic evenings such as drag performances on Mondays and the crowd favourite, Karaokestar Thursdays.
General Manager, Jamie Watson, has been at the venue for five years and is excited about the upcoming launch. He said: “I’ve always thought that Bournemouth has been crying out for a Popworld, and the long wait is almost over, we are getting ready to bring you a Popworld at last.”
