You’ll never walk up the SU stairs again: Temporary entrance opens
The new entrance is even weirder than the stairs
The Students' Union stairs have closed for good in preparation for their demolition this month.
The temporary entrance will be the way into the SU until November 2020.
After this students will access the SU building through the new Centre for Student Life, which the stairs are being demolished to make way for.
Here's a look at your entrance to the SU for the next year:
The entrance is located by the entrance to Cathays train station
There's still plenty of stairs to climb
Construction people are still hard at work modifying the temporary entrance
Your journey then takes you through what seems like an aircraft hanger, but is actually part of the new centre for student life building
