There is now a Hummus Appreciation society at York
For all Hummus lovers
A Hummus Appreciation society (Humsoc) has been started at York. Membership for the society will cost £2 until the end of this academic year and £4 from the start of academic year 2018/19.
President Imogen Godwin & Social Sec Jemima Hill spoke to The Tab about the new society.
“We wanted to start Humsoc as we eat hummus all the time. We saw that there was a Hummus Appreciation society at Durham and thought it would be nice to bring that to York with a cooking element.”
The Prez added that there as there is a new Hummus restaurant in town (Humpit), there will be many chances to go there.
